Weekly Workshops

Our short and sweet, online workshops are designed to give you straight to the point support, weird and wonderful analogies and a chance to ask questions. Each with a level and sub-topic focus, they are sure to help you grow your confidence without a big time commitment.

We like flexibility here. So book an individual session or buy a session pack to use as an when you wish.

Got some unanswered questions about our Weekly Workshops? Hopefully these will help.

How much do sessions cost?

  • Single Session: £11

  • 4-session pack: £38 (£9.50 per session)

  • 8-session pack: £64 (£8 per session)

Session packs will be credited to your website account and can be used as and when you like.

How are the sessions delivered?

All sessions run through Zoom. You can join with or without a registered zoom account.

Do I need to turn my camera or mic on?

Nope! Keep them off and use the chat to ask questions.

Can parents stay in the room?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to join your child during the workshop.

Who runs the workshops?

The sessions will be run by Chemistry Academy Founder, Kimberley. A GTCS registered teacher with over 10 years of SQA curriculum teaching and assessment experience. Plus she has an active Disclosure Scotland PVG check.

What should I have to hand during the session?

A notebook, pen, data booklet and a few highlighters would be ideal. Basically everything you would take to a chemistry lesson in school.

How do I manage my bookings?

Once you’ve booked a session or purchased a session pack, you’ll need to create an account on the website. Just click ‘Account Log In’ and register a new account if you don’t already have one. From here you can view and amend your bookings if needed.

Do I need an account to book?

You can book a session without an account, but creating one makes things much easier! With an account, you can:

  • View and manage all your bookings

  • Track your subscriptions

  • See your past orders

  • Use your session pack credits as and when you like

     

Will I get booking confirmation?

Yes. You’ll receive a booking confirmation via email as soon as your place is secured. This email will include all the joining information you need. 

Will I get a reminder before my workshop?

Absolutely! A session reminder with the meeting link will also be sent via email before your workshop starts, so you won’t miss it.

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand plans sometimes change, so if you can't make it you can cancel your booking by logging into your account on our website. Please note that cancellations within a 48 to 24 hours of the scheduled session time will only receive a 50% refund, and cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time will be ineligible for a refund. If a session pack has been used the session will be reaccredited to your account so long as the cancellation is within 24 hours of the scheduled session time.
